Combined with existing or new solar panels, this system is designed to give users independence from the grid, which means continuous power during outages and extreme weather, with an advertised switchover time of under 10ms. Powering it with a gas generator is particularly useful in the event of an outage during a storm, which may mean your solar panels don't get enough sunlight through stormy clouds.
