NetEase executives and workers were reportedly arrested amid a corruption investigation


Two former NetEase executives and several ex-employees have been implicated in an alleged money laundering scheme at the video game company.

Alongside ex-executives Xiang Liang and Jin Yuchen, several other people who worked at the company were reportedly arrested over alleged corruption. Sonic the Hedgehog co-creator Yuji Naka was last year handed a suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay just over $1.1 million after admitting to insider trading. The latest console patch for God of War Ragnarok adds the PC port’s option to tone down the boy’s unsolicited advice when Kratos contemplates puzzles.
