Netflix is adding a much-requested feature to its core streaming video product: The ability to download an entire season of a series with one tap on Apple iOS devices. While many users stream their favorite episodes, downloading allows for on-the-go viewing on commutes, camping trips or plane rides where internet is spotty or not available. And the investment in both product and content seems to be paying off, with Netflix adding a record-setting 19 million subscribers last quarter, in a blowout for the streaming giant.
