Netflix hires Alain Tascan as its president of games

Netflix announced it's appointed Alain Tascan, formerly of Epic Games, as the new head of its gaming division.

Tascan said in a statement to Variety: “In an ever-evolving entertainment landscape, Netflix has continually demonstrated an unparalleled ability to innovate and captivate audiences worldwide. Peters spoke about the company’s hopes for Tascan to Variety: “Alain brings over 30 years of experience in global video game development, production, licensing and building studios.
