Netflix hires former Epic Games exec as new President of Games

Netflix hired Alain Tascan to head up its growing Games division. Tascan is a former EVP at Epic Games.

Many of these new projects are interactive fiction based on Netflix shows and movies, with the goal of giving fans new ways to engage with their favorite titles. "I think our opportunity here to serve super fandom with games is really fun and remarkable," Co-CEO Ted Sarandos said during the call. Although Netflix is making a sizable investment into this games division, people haven't been flocking to their titles yet.
