Netflix teases upcoming Minecraft animated series

Netflix announced it's making a Minecraft animated show in collaboration with Mojang, though we know little beyond the teaser trailer.

Netflix and Mojang Studios announced today that they’re collaborating on an animated series based on Minecraft. According to a news release, the series will allegedly follow an original story with new characters, “showing the world of Minecraft in a new light.” The film is directed by Jared Hess, stars Jason Momoa and Jack Black and is scheduled for release in April 2025.
