New Law Would Create an ‘Internet Kill Switch’ to Fight Movie Piracy Sites | The Foreign Anti-Digital Piracy Act (FADPA) would let copyright holders force ISPs to shut down access to certain websites.

The Foreign Anti-Digital Piracy Act (FADPA) would let copyright holders force ISPs to shut down access to certain websites.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren, a Democrat from California, introduced new legislation today that would let copyright holders force ISPs to block foreign websites hosting pirate streams of TV shows and movies.
