New study will track 40,000 Garmin smartwatch users to better understand pregnancy outcomes
Garmin announced the collaboration with King's College London at its Health Summit in New York on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Garmin announced a collaboration with King's College London for its Enhanced Maternal and Baby Results with AI-supported Care and Empowerment (EMBRACE) research program. The research will collect data from up to 60,000 participants using Garmin smartwatches to assess optimal outcomes for pregnancy and early childhood development. During Garmin's Health Summit, Watzke mentioned several areas where he sees the tech making a major difference, including healthcare, research, insurance, and additional innovation.
