New trailer for A Quiet Place: Day One is filled with sound and fury
It’s Lupita Nyong’o’s turn to (not) scream in A Quiet Place: Day One’s new trailer.
But it’s the din of the screams that prompts the strange, swift alien creatures to begin ripping through people with terrifying ease, and it’s only because Sam’s trapped under a collapsing bus that she isn’t torn to bits. Because this is a prequel set before humanity has learned how to fight back against the invaders, A Quiet Place: Day One seems poised to feel like a more straightforward sci-fi horror where Sam and her allies Eric (Joseph Quinn) and the Man on the Island (Djimon Hounsou) have to figure things out on the fly. But with a fourth Quiet Place film on the way, Day One could very well introduce us to some key figures in the franchise’s future when it hits theaters on June 28th.
