New whistleblower accuses Boeing of using bad parts in 737 Max planes

The allegations were released right ahead of Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun’s hearing before the Senate panel on Tuesday.

John Barnett, a former employee at Boeing who blew the whistle on safety and quality control issues at the aircraft manufacturing company, was found dead in March 2024. Since his retirement, Barnett has been involved in a long legal battle with the company, alleging that Boeing denigrated his character and hampered his career, the BBC said in its report. Having contributed to renowned wire agencies and Indian media outlets like ANI and NDTV, he is keenly interested in Tech, Business and Defense coverage.
