News Corp Sues AI Company Perplexity Over Copyright Claims, Made Up Text

The suit alleges that the AI search engine illegally used copyrighted material in its product.

Perplexity, founded in 2022, is currently seeking to raise an additional $500 million at an$8 billion valuation, per reporting from News Corp’s own Wall Street Journal.
