Nintendo offers Switch 2 editions of Zelda, Mario Party and more
Nintendo announced several original Switch games are getting Switch 2 upgrades via Enhanced Editions, which can be bought separately.
Super Mario Party Jamboree has new modes centered around the Switch 2’s built-in microphone and mouse controls, as well as the optional proprietary camera. Similarly, Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s Switch 2 edition features an exclusive DLC called Star-Crossed World, which launches on August 28. The only other game confirmed to have a Switch 2 edition at launch is Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which will have “enhanced resolution and frame rates.” Nintendo implied that other games could have Switch 2 Enhanced Editions announced at some point in the future.
