Nintendo of America hasn't just uploaded its classic 1991 SNES TV advert to make you nostalgic - it's also recreated it entirely for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025, complete with the original leading man, Paul Rudd. More than thirty years after stepping up to advertise games like F-Zero, Pilotwings, Sim City, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past the first time around, the nicest (and seemingly ageless) man in Hollywood is back again to reprise his role, complete with his beaded necklace. But the $450 Switch 2 itself, including its $500 bundle with Mario Kart World, will not increase in price for now.
