The Nintendo Switch 2 could cost the same as a PS5 and Xbox Series X
Most analysts believe the Nintendo Switch 2 will cost $399.99, which would make it the most expensive console the Japanese company has ever released. If the Nintendo Switch 2 costs $449/$499 when it launches, that would put it in direct competition with Microsoft and Sony’s consoles. If Nintendo’s hybrid console is weaker than its rivals (and it’s certainly won’t be as powerful as the PS5 and Xbox Series X), consumers could be tempted to pick up a different device.
