Nissan is giving Ariya owners a new charging network, access to Tesla Superchargers


The Leaf gets the short end of the stick.

The new “Nissan Energy Charge Network” consists of “90,000 fast chargers” in the US from partner companies Electrify America, Shell Recharge, ChargePoint, and EVgo. The new Nissan charging network, app abilities, and NACS adapter news notably do not apply to the Nissan Leaf, which still bears the burden of carrying the dying CHAdeMO DC fast charging port standard and archaic connectivity software with the NissanConnect EV and Services app.
