NotCo Handed North America Operations to Kraft in 2024


Startup NotCo SpA closed its offices in New York and Kraft Heinz Co. will now sell the Chilean company’s products in the US and Canada as it struggles to become profitable, CEO Matias Muchnick told Bloomberg.

Startup NotCo SpA closed its offices in New York and Kraft Heinz Co. will now sell the Chilean company’s products in the US and Canada as it struggles to become profitable, CEO Matias Muchnick told Bloomberg. The deal runs parallel to a joint venture between the two companies signed in 2022 to produce plant-based versions of the Pittsburgh-based firm’s products and market them in North America, excluding Mexico. Now it is also using Kraft’s workforce to sell NotCo’s products.
