Nvidia CEO Defends RTX 5090’s High Price, Says ‘Gamers Won’t Save $100 by Choosing Something a Bit Worse’

Nvidia CEO defends the RTX 5090's $2000 price, claiming gamers prioritize top performance over saving $100 on slightly lesser options.

CEO Jensen Huang stated that the high price reflects the product's quality, targeting enthusiasts who desire the best. Huang admitted the price is high but said it is aimed at users who already spend a lot on high-end PC parts, sound systems, and monitors. Nvidia also pointed out the 5000 series’ standout feature: an eightfold boost in performance for rendering, thanks to Multi Frame Generation Technology.
