Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 review: better than console performance - but not enough VRAM

Digital Foundry tests the RTX 5060. On this page: we introduce our test system, benchmarking methodology and initial impressions.

Unlike the 5060 Ti, however, which debuted in 8GB and 16GB models, the 5060 is only available with 8GB of frame buffer memory - a limitation we'll discuss in some depth later. The 16GB RTX 5060 Ti works fine and delivers good performance - proof positive that 8GB is too much of a limiting factor for these cards. On top of the robust industrial design, the card features a dual BIOS with "quiet" and "performance" options - always useful.
