NVIDIA Upstreaming Work For Linux On Their Smart Switch SN4280, SN5610, SN5640


One of many Linux kernel patch series that NVIDIA has been working on recently to upstream to the mainline Linux kernel are the adjustments needed for Linux running on their newest Smart Switch networking products for the data center.

Similarly, the tentative Linux patches also provide support for the new 2U switches the NVIDIA SN5610 and SN5640 as well as the SN2201 OCP rack. The Smart Switch equipped with: - Nvidia COME module based on AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3451 CPU. It includes support for health events, resets and boot progress indications logic, implemented by FPGA device.
