Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080 sell out almost instantly

Unsurprisingly, dozens of different variations of the hotly-anticipated GPUs are impossible to find less than an hour after the official retail launch.

The morning of the official retail launch for Nvidia’s next-gen GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards, they’re almost impossible to actually order at online stores in the United States just an hour after the sales began. Michael's previous bylines include Android Police, Digital Trends, Wired, Lifehacker, and How-To Geek, and he's covered events like CES and Mobile World Congress live.
