NYU website defaced as hacker leaks info on a million students

An attempt to expose racism seems to have escalated

The group reminded that the Supreme Court killed “affirmative action” back in 2023, but the NYU “continued anyway”, and that the data shows that the average admitted test scores and GPAs for Asian and Caucasian applicants were higher, compared to Hispanic and Black applicants. Affirmative action is a policy designed to promote opportunities for historically marginalized groups, particularly in education and employment, by considering factors like race or gender in admissions and hiring decisions. The Record says that the group tried to redact the files so that the students couldn’t be identified, but failed, according to Zack Ganot, one of the people running DataBreach.com.
