Obsidian’s Avowed launches in fall 2024
Obsidian revealed new gameplay for avowed, including combat, environments and dialogue. The game launches in fall 2024.
The gameplay trailer was a mix of combat and story interactions, as well as glimpses of the game world, called The Living Lands. Obsidian showed several moments of combat gameplay, which it says is a combination of magic, melee attacks and ranged weaponry, and players can quickly swap out their loadouts. It follows a sidequest and how the player character can resolve it, including how the game offers “morally gray, nuanced” dialogue options and narrative choices.
