One of the most powerful men in entertainment just called OpenAI's Sam Altman a 'con man' who can't be trusted


Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel said OpenAI co-founder Sam Altman can't be trusted with artificial intelligence and called for government intervention.

The purpose of the structure was to ensure that OpenAI pursued artificial general intelligence to benefit humanity before it prioritizes profits. Two days before Emanuel spoke at the festival, Altman and Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky were at the same event, saying that building AI responsibly will require society's input. During the Aspen Ideas Festival on Friday,Tina Brown, the founding editor in chief of The Daily Beast,asked the media juggernaut to share his thoughts on AI and the reassurances innovators such as Altman give about the technology.
