OpenAI announces surprise ‘Deep Research’ stream tonight
OpenAI posted on X that it will be hosting a livestream from Tokyo starting at 7PM ET (4PM PT/ 9AM JST).
Mark Gurman reports in the Power On newsletter that Apple may launch an event invitation service this week code-named Confetti, and Powerbeats Pro 2 could follow on February 11. The Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp has claimed that journalists and civil society members were targeted and “possibly compromised” by spyware. The Meta Safety Advisory Council has written the company a letter about its concerns with its recent policy changes, including its decision to suspend its fact-checking program.
