OpenAI’s News Corp deal licenses content from WSJ, New York Post, and more


OpenAI is partnering with more media companies.

OpenAI has struck a deal with News Corp, the media company that owns The Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, The Daily Telegraph, and others. This is the latest in a string of licensing deals OpenAI has inked with major media companies and outlets, including The Associated Press, the Financial Times, People publisher Dotdash Meredith, and Politico owner Axel Springer. The partnership also includes outlets like Barron’s, MarketWatch, Investor’s Business Daily, FN, The Sunday Times, The Sun, and The Australian, among others, and News Corp will “share journalistic expertise” with OpenAI to “ensure the highest journalism standards.”
