Our dream of synced notifications on Android might finally come true

You'll be able to cut back on repeat notifications, thanks to the latest Android 15 beta.

The early discovery showed that Google could give users agency over how the feature works, like whether it'll limit conversations or all notifications. If the "compact" version is desired, notifications will appear as a single line of text with a quick "reply" button, and the app's logo. Google's Pixel 9 Pro XL is the newest addition to the series as the company brings back a familiar moniker.
