PayPal and Venmo outage hit users Friday morning - what we know
The outage is prohibiting people from sending or receiving payments.
The problem has been resolved, but millions of people were scrambling to find a fix. A tab on the same page showed Venmo's status as "Operational," but that wasn't the case. Our Technical teams are actively investigating and working to mitigate the impact as quickly as possible.
