In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Spencer reaffirms this direction while trying to allay any fears that consoles would be abandoned. Spencer also appears to have taken a swing at Sony, remarking "We think about hardware that can create unique value for our players or creators on our platform. I've always had a passion for playing games, but I learned how to write about them while doing my Film and TV degrees at the University of Warwick and contributing to the student paper, The Boar.
