Pokémon developer Game Freak reveals new title Beast of Reincarnation
Game Freak reveals a new, non-Pokemon game called Beast of Reincarnation, an action-adventure game set in post-apocalyptic Japan.
The trailer gives a release window in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and it also launches day one on Game Pass. Players join Emma and her dog friend Koo in the year 4026 as they attempt to undo a spreading corruption exterminating humanity. The trailer gives a few gameplay hints on how she’ll do that, showing Emma wielding a blade against evil and traversing her environment with vines.
