Pre-Ordered The ASUS Zenbook S 14 For Intel Core Ultra "Lunar Lake" Linux Testing

With this week's announcement of the Intel Core Ultra 200V Series 'Lunar Lake' processors, I've been very eager to try out the Meteor Lake successor for Linux testing

In this case after seeing the Lunar Lake laptops announced this week and their availability, I ended up settling on the ASUS Zenbook S 14 (UX5406SA-S14.U71TB) for the initial Core Ultra 200V series Linux review. The ASUS Zenbook S 14 UX5406SA-S14.U71TB features a 14-inch 2880 x 1800 120Hz AMOLED display, 12 hour rated battery life, 1TB SSD, and using the Core Ultra 7 256V SoC. Should be a fun direct showdown for ASUS Zenbooks between the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series Strix Point and Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake.About The AuthorMichael Larabel is the principal author of Phoronix.com and founded the site in 2004 with a focus on enriching the Linux hardware experience.
