Privacy Pass Authentication for Kagi Search
Today we are announcing a new privacy feature coming to Kagi Search.
Kagi’s Privacy Pass extension and native implementation in Orion take care, as much as we can, to uniform your browser fingerprint, by removing deanonymizing HTTP headers and cookies. We have considered allowing users to send a small configuration with every request(language, region, safe-search) to automatically customize your search experience to some extent. # PP Users:1001 00010 000100 0001 000 00010 000 000Lang 1≈ 100≈ 1000≈ 10000≈ 100000≈ 970000≈ 9660000Lang 21< 10≈ 90≈ 900≈ 9000≈ 90000Lang 31< 10≈ 70≈ 700≈ 7000≈ 70000Lang 40< 5≈ 40≈ 400≈ 4000≈ 40000Lang 50< 5≈ 40≈ 400≈ 4000≈ 40000Lang 60< 5≈ 30≈ 300≈ 3000≈ 30000Lang 70< 5≈ 20≈ 200≈ 2000≈ 20000Lang 801≈ 10≈ 100≈ 1000≈ 10000Lang 901≈ 10≈ 100≈ 1000≈ 10000Lang 1001≈ 10≈ 100≈ 1000≈ 10000This would mean that someone sending us Lang 10 as their language configuration would automatically lose redemption-redemption unlinkability guarantees if approximately 1000 Kagi users used Privacy Pass.
