PropelAuth (YC W22) is hiring engineers who love to write
PropelAuth makes it easy for companies of all sizes to onboard and manage their users. We’re a pivotal part of a company’s infrastructure, enabling companies to launch and grow quickly. About the Role Our ability to educate our users on technical topics is something we’re very proud of. Some of our blogs, such as this one (https://www.propelauth.com/post/getting-url-in-next-server-components), get thousands of visits every month. The person in this role will be responsible for producing high quality, technical content on a consistent basis to reach engineers at various skill levels. We all love to learn and grow. Our leadership team has experience working with and mentoring engineers at both startups and top companies like Palantir. We'll work with our hires to craft it to their interests, skill set, and long term career goals. Responsibilities Produce 4-5 pieces of highly technical content a month. These will most commonly be in the form of blogs and videos. Some may be related to the PropelAuth product, whereas others may just be on topics of interest to our community. Keep on eye on what topics are trending among the developer communities we’re trying to reach. Collaborate with the team to gain a deep understanding of our customer base in order to produce content that will resonate with them. What We’re Looking For Experience with writing and shipping code (preferably at a job) Experience creating public facing content in the form of blogs, videos, documentation, etc Ability to write high quality content quickly Working With Us: We're a remote-first team, spread over the US. Working hours are flexible but we ask that you have 4-5 hours of overlap with 9am-5pm PST We provide standard benefits - health insurance, PTO, etc We strongly believe in hiring employees that are experts at what they do, and that our job is to support each other Writing Samples When submitting your application, please include links to at least 2 pieces of public facing content you have produced.
