Proton says its latest stealth features are rolling out to help protect free speech around the world.

Proton says it enabled the "Discreet Icons" feature to help its users in case governments, police, or other authorities seize their devices. With today’s announcements, we hope to give people the tools they need to bypass censorship and access a free and fair internet, wherever they are." In addition to Discreet Icons, Proton is also powering up a dozen new local servers in specific countries it believes may face government crackdowns or censorship.
