Sony is raising prices.
GameSpot may receive revenue from affiliate and advertising partnerships for sharing this content and from purchases through links. The company said it is continuing to "navigate a challenging economic environment" and will pass the cost on to consumers in the form of higher prices. Analyst Daniel Ahmad said Sony is raising prices against the backdrop of higher tariff rates on countries where the PS5 is produced, including China (30%), Japan (15%), Vietnam (20%), and Malaysia (19%).
