Random Apple Pay Charges Affecting iPhone Users in Hungary

Apple Pay is malfunctioning in Hungary, according to reports from several Hungarian news sites. Apple device owners are seeing surprise, unexpected...

Hungarian news sites say that banks are being slammed with requests for help, and that it appears to be a problem on Apple's end. Some of the charges appear to be linked to subscriptions that were canceled previously, and some of the amounts match prior transactions. With iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, Apple is introducing a new personalized AI experience called Apple Intelligence that uses on-device, generative large-language models to enhance the user experience across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
