Reflex (YC W23) Is Hiring Software Engineers (San Francisco)


We’re looking for a strong generalist software engineer comfortable working on a very early product in a quickly changing codebase and role. Our office is in San Francisco and we work in person M-F. This role will involve working on some feature for our hosting service including authentication, payments, and touching a bit of the open source project as well. Hit our record number of daily active users Monday and broke it again yesterday. Team: Work with people who are genuinely passionate about improving the web. Our founding team consists of open source maintainers, top ranked competitive programmers/IOI medalists, and founding team members from dev tool unicorns. Future: We are gearing up for an official launch of our hosting service and releasing a full stack agent that can build apps for you. Responsibilities: Help optimize and improve our open-source project. Work on improving our different aspects of our hosting service: Streaming logs, Authentication, authorization, database management Work on improving performance, shaving milliseconds off our deployment times. Take an active role in the Reflex community by seeking feedback, integrating contributions, and fostering positive and collaborative relationships. Skills: AWS, Docker, Python, Auth, Postgres What We Look for: 3+ year of experience in software engineering Very comfortable writing Python. Background in contributing to open source software, competitive programming, and/or interesting side projects. Passion for open source software and contributing to open source communities.
