Rescue robot with quadrupedal, wheeled, tracked modes debuts in China

China unveils a rescue robot with three mobility modes, built for extreme conditions and disaster response operations.

During a demonstration, a wheeled rescue robot equipped with a portable emergency medical device showcased its seven key functions: respiration, monitoring, infusion, ultrasound, defibrillation, CPR, and oxygen supply. Deep Robotics highlighted the technology’s value in scenarios like fire reconnaissance and emergency rescue operations, where speed, accuracy, and autonomous decision-making are critical. According to Deep, the advancement not only enhances the robot’s agility and spatial awareness, but also allows the four-legged machine to navigate without prior mapping and adapt more effectively to dynamic or unstructured surroundings.
