Riot Games and Opera GX partner for League of Legends World Championship

Riot Games announced it's partnering with Opera GX for League of Legends esports, with several features launching in time for Worlds 2024.

Riot Games announced this week that it has partnered with Opera GX, making the latter the Preferred Browser of League of Legends Esports Global Events. As a result, Opera GX will have several new features to support esports viewers, including exclusive Worlds Unlocked digital drops, all of which launch on September 25. It’ll also have a “Riot Corner,” an interactive directory of all of the matches and a display of Worlds’ calendar that adjusts to the user’s time zone, though this is an official mode that viewers will have to download.
