EV charging can be a pain, but Rivian has a solution.

EV charging reliability remains a serious sore spot for a lot of owners of plug-in vehicles, leaving the companies selling the cars scrambling to boost their confidence. Each vehicle is connected and constantly sending data back to the company’s headquarters, which then gets processed to remove “noise” that’s not essential to the decision-making algorithm. The charging network today is plagued by buggy software, frayed cables, confusing payment systems, and is often prone to extreme cold or heat.
