Roblox allows its players to create their own games within its universe, alongside buying and selling customizations for their avatars using the Robux in-game currency. Fortnite has dabbled with the occasional pop star and commercial tie-in, but Roblox, which was originally earmarked to be called Dynablocks has come a long way since those early demos back in 2004. Having spent time as Head of Communications at a professional sports club and working for high-profile charities such as the National Literacy Trust, he returned as Managing Editor in charge of large US-based technology websites in 2020.
