Samsung borrows from the Apple Wallet playbook with layaway and tap-to-send for Wallet

Samsung is making its Wallet feature more similar to Apple's but might actually do so in a better way.

The new features are called "Instant Installment," which is the company's take on "buy now pay later," as well as peer-to-peer payments, which it's named "Tap to Transfer." Samsung has announced the latest version of its flagship device, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and it will come with more AI-focused features than its predecessors like the other phones in its lineup. Bowling with Corpses and Other Strange Tales From Lands Unknown is the first book from Hellboy creator Mike Mignola's new Dark Horse imprint, Curious Objects.
