Samsung brings live translate to its TVs at CES 2025

At CES 2025, Samsung announced that it's bringing a popular feature from the company’s phones and tablets to its TVs. Live Translate does what it says on

In its current form, the system works by translating the closed captions on a broadcast, rather than listening to the audio directly. The company is also adding AI-based Voice Removal with Audio Subtitles, a feature it says is focused on the visually impaired community. According to Samsung, the new feature “will analyze subtitles, isolate voices and adjust reading speed for a seamless experience.”
