Samsung Galaxy S24 hands-on: AI coming in clutch
Small hardware refinements and big new software features.
With the Galaxy S24 family, Samsung is borrowing plenty of proven AI concepts from Google's Pixel 8 Pro, offering up a slew of useful new features that you're bound to love when you need them. A new generative AI editing tool works identically to Magic Editor on the Pixel 8 series, allowing users to tap or circle an object, move it around, resize it, or erase it. Samsung refused to comment on specifics, but it's likely the S24 series is still using the same awful low 240Hz PWM refresh rates as previous Galaxy phones, which are known to cause eye strain and headaches in individuals sensitive to flashing lights.
