The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Google Pixel Watch 2 are for very different types of people.

A downside with the Google Pixel Watch 2 is that while it is cheaper, if you want to enjoy a comparable level of tracking and detailed metrics, you’ll have to pay a recurring subscription fee, which will cost more in the long run. If you’re good with a standard, wristwatch-looking device that can track all the most important metrics, from workouts to sleep, blood oxygen, and heart rate, offers access to apps, and has helpful safety features, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will suffice.
