Santander staff and '30 million' customers hacked

Their data is being sold online by the same gang who this week claimed to have hacked Ticketmaster.

Hackers are attempting to sell what they say is confidential information belonging to millions of Santander staff and customers. Santander has apologised for what it says is "the concern this will understandably cause" adding it is "proactively contacting affected customers and employees directly." They suggest the Ticketmaster sale could have been a publicity stunt to draw attention to their new hacking forum that was recently relaunched after a police takedown.
