Saudi entertainment city Qiddiya sponsors Esports World Cup

Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia's planned entertainment city, is sponsoring the Esports World Cup and hosting the event for the next 3 years.

We’re thrilled to open our call for speakers to our flagship event, GamesBeat Summit 2024 hosted in Los Angeles, where we will explore the theme of “Resilience and Adaption”. In 2020, Riot Games announced and ended a partnership in less than 24 hours with another Saudi Arabian development, Neom, as a result of fan backlash. Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund owns both the planned city and Savvy Games Group, the Esports World Cup Federation’s parent company.
