See the Perseids and Southern Delta Aquariids in a Stunning Double Meteor Shower

Across the Northern Hemisphere, August will see beautiful displays of meteors. Here's everything you need to know to enjoy them.

To see the most meteors, you’ll want to watch with a clear, dark sky, in a place that’s away from sources of light. This means that you will be able to see some Southern Delta Aquariids during the peak of the Perseid meteor shower in mid-August! Unlike the Southern Delta Aquariids, the Perseids have a sharp peak, meaning that the amount of meteors dramatically increases around one or two nights and then drops off sharply.
