June 30, 2025 As a beginner learner of Japanese, I still need regular practice reading Kana( Hiragana and Katakana). Rather than using one of the countless existing resources, I decided to build my own little Space-Invaders-style game. No doubt I was procrastinating, but learning SpriteKit and building the app involved a fair bit of app testing, so I ended up learning while erm procrastinating.
