Skechers has launched a new line of shoes for children with a hidden AirTag compartment.
This begs the question: does Skechers think we are leaving our toddlers unsupervised to the degree that we need to hide trackers in their shoes? Add to this that there is research suggesting that using digital technology to track your children's whereabouts can lead to more rebellious behavior. Some online commentators were also quick to point out that this shoe could help keep track of elderly loved ones who might wander.
