Smart rings are disposable tech


A smart ring isn't designed to be repaired.

Fortunately, smart rings tend to have pretty good battery life, so you won't have to charge them as often as you would a Wear OS smartwatch. (Image credit: Derrek Lee / Android Central)So once you've charged your ring about 400 times, you can expect the battery to stop being "good enough." It will still work, but not for very long, and for a product designed to be worn so it can read a bunch of health data, time on the finger and not the charger is very important.
